Betty's exclusive interview for news.am website
Betty, there was a time when you were very active. You were presenting songs after songs, videos; you were taking part in competitions, presenting TV shows. What is the reason for your silence?
In fact, there is no silence, as I am also doing a lot now. Currently I'm away from my homeland, but I am convinced that in the future I will be in need for my prosperous Armenia due to my education and skills of experience that I now gain in one of the world's most powerful countries, in the USA.
What do you do in the USA?
I continue to live here because I have a contract with the American media agency, I work with them, study at prestigious institutions. By the way, I am grateful to my teachers for the solid knowledge I have gained in Armenia and thanks to this knowledge, here I celebrate lots of victories. I also study at a music school and, of course, do a lot of work for the New Generation project I have created in 2016. It is a continual developmental motivation program for our new generation.
Have you recently visited Armenia? Or do you want to come here?
I want to visit Armenia, just the thing is that by the rules of the contract, I cannot be far from the country for a long time. Because of my busy schedule I have to make a very competent distribution of my free time, which I, obviously, do not have (Betty laughs). I did not even have a vacation this year, but I am glad to find the time to study Chinese. Soon I will be absolutely fluent in five languages.
Recently you have been a jury member of the Armenian "To Junior Eurovision" project. How did you evaluate the participants?
I took into consideration the objective principle. I have been paying attention to the artist's character and the song.
What can you say about the winner, L.E.V.O.N?
I must say that the winner was on the first place in the list of my winners.
As a participant of Junior Eurovision, what would you recommend to this year's contestant?
Keep track of your health, do lots of photos and videos, enjoy the time and return with the prize for Armenia! Remember that we believe in you and, of course, we are with you!
Let's talk about your news. Will we be able to see a new song, a video from you in the near future?
Of course there will be some positive things. There will be new songs, and most importantly, I want to emphasize that I made the next major step for my authoritative New Generation project. I must say that the project’s feedbacks have so far caused great joys for the representatives of the new generation.
